“Intimate but grand, Crybaby is a triumph”**** The Guardian

Named after Garnet Mimms’ ‘Cry Baby’ – one of the truly seminal songs in the development of soul music, famously covered by Janis Joplin – Crybaby is the alias of Bristolian singer/songwriter Danny Coughlan. His eponymous debut album, a collection of blissfully spare, fully focussed pieces propelled by dramatic imagery and gripping melody, was released in 2012 to universal acclaim.
